This place suits me perfectly! It offers great amenities like wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar/lounge area. The staff once helped me with taxi tips during my first stay. I can't wait to come back for a xmas.

The location is perfect, good breakfast.

We were disappointed with the room, it did not have a very nice view, the windows were dirty and we had no balcony (though on website it did mention a balcony!). Airco too cold and could not be adjusted.

We got a suite with a big balcony and an amazing view of Mount Pico and the harbor. The architecture of the old fort adds a unique charm. There are plenty of good restaurants within walking distance, and the terrace was great for evening snacks 🌅

I faced challenges with noise from local events nearby. The limited pool hours caused frustration as I couldn't enjoy swimming after returning from a day out. The bar service felt lacking, as there were few options available for drinks or snacks while relaxing by the pool.

The pool hours were disgracefully limited, closing at 19:00. We arrived hot and ready to swim, only to be turned away. The blaring music from the nearby festival ruined my evening rest, earplugs were the least i expected! As a distinguished guest, a complimentary upgrade would have been a nice touch. Almost gave a good review, just couldn't.

The fine sea views from our balcony made evenings lovely, especially watching the boats come in while playing cards with the family. There were also fun whale watching opportunities around the archipelago.

In my wife's opinion, a poolside snack service would enhance family experiences.

Plus, we appreciated the complimentary welcome drink, made our arrival so warm and inviting. The hotel staff were not just courteous but treated us like family! We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, and found the ambiance enchanting. This was a fantastic base for exploring Faial!
